Artist Md. Ziaur Rahman

Md. Ziaur Rahman (b. 1987: Chadpur District, Matlob North) is a Bangladeshi painter celebrated for his vibrant and evocative depictions of motion and nature. He draws inspiration from the dynamic interplay of objects and animals in motion, using them as metaphors for strength, vitality, and resilience.

His solo exhibitions reflect his creative journey and philosophy. His debut exhibition, Nirobodhi (2009), showcased his initial exploration of artistic themes, while his latest exhibition, Inner Speed (2024), at La Galerie, Alliance Française de Dhaka, delved into the concept of speed as a symbol of life's dynamism and energy.
